Other day, I saw Pat Robertson stating on his 700-Club TV show that India should be converted to Christianity??? Almost every day, you can hear one preacher on another collecting funds to evangelize INDIA...Give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!What do they mean by CHRISTIANIZING or ISLAMIFICATION of INDIA???? I have no idea. I have debated many on Prodigy Networks Religious section years ago and I have not find any one with any logical answer.
WHY SHOULD A HINDU CONVERT FROM HIS/HERS CULTURE AND BELIEF SYSTEM TO CHRISTIANITY OR ISLAM????I am seriously looking for answers- -------I wish some knowledgeable person can enlighten me and give me logical answers.

WHY SHOULD A HINDU HAS TO BECOME A MOSLEM. THE DAUGHTER RELIGION OF JUDAISM??
WHY SHOULD A HINDU BECOME A MORMON?
WHY SHOULD A HINDU BECOME A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN?
WHY SHOULD A HINDU BECOME JEHOVAH WITNESS??
LET US LOOK AT THE FACTS:
1 All modern religions came from TWO GREAT CULTURES: THEY ARE--HINDUISM AND JUDAISM
2 ALL CULTURES STARTED AT THE BANKS OF THE RIVERS OF THE WORLD LIKE GANGES, SUEZ ETC
3 Jews were mere Gypsies or nomads under Pagan Canaanite 4000 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. There was no word HEBREW before 6000 years. The word HEBREW means WANDERERS. Being nomads or gypsies or wanderers was the reason why Jews were kept captive under different kingdoms through out the history. IF ANY ONE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO PROVE TO ME, WHAT I WROTE ABOVE IS WRONG, PLEASE DO SO.
4 Jews used to worship many CANAANITE & EGYPTIAN gods, even after their departure from Egypt under Moses. Jews used to worship Canaanite gods like BAAL and EL and Egyptian gods until and even after Moses met Jehovah on the mountain top. Moses killed almost every who worshiped any other god than Jehovah. [ NUMBERS 31:1,2,7,9,10,15]
5 There are similarities between Jehovah and Hindu God Brahman. For example John 1:1 came from the Hindu Vedas which states, IN THE BEGINNING WAS PRAJAPATHI, THE BRAHMAN, WITH WHOM WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS VERILY SUPREME BRAHMAN.
6 VIRGIN BIRTH of Jesus Christ is a part of Christian belief system and not a HISTORICAL DOCUMENTED FACT. In all cultures, people believe that their founders and prophets are of VIRGIN BIRTHS. Buddhists believe that GAUTAMA BUDDHA WAS BORN FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS MOTHER MAYA. Hindus believe that ALL PRAJAPATHIS [ THE VERY FIRST HINDU SAINTS] WERE BORN FROM THE MIND OF BRAHMA [ THE GOD OF CREATION] Almost all Greek gods were born outside the WOMB!!!
As per Zoroastrian religion, its founder ZOROASTER [ born long before the birth of Jesus Christ] was a VIRGIN BIRTH, after holy power descended into his mother-----If you read books relating to Egyptian civilization, you can see that god RA was born outside the mother's womb.
In the famous book, RELIGION OF THE ANCIENT EGYPT, by Renouf, god RA tells his son RAMSEY III, "I am thy father, by me are begotten all thy members as divine; I have shaped thee like the Mendelian god; I have begotten thee, impregnating thy venerable mother"--------That is why PHARAOH is called SON OF GOD.
It is said even the legendary NEBUCHADNEZZAR believed that god MARDUK entered his mother's womb and gave him life. HERCULES is considered as the son of Greek god ZEUS. Zeus in fact, said in the Greek mythology THIS DAY A CHILD OF MINE WILL BE BORN IN THE PERSEUS RACE, WHO WILL BE THE MIGHTIEST OF ALL MEN.
7 RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ is another BELIEF and not a documented fact. Concerning the RESURRECTION OF CHRIST H.G. WELLS wrote in his book dealing with world history beginning, " IT IS RUMORED..............." Only document we have about RESURRECTION OF CHRIST is the Holy Bible. We do not have any historical documentation from GREEK, JEWISH, ROMAN, EGYPTIAN SCHOLARS OF THAT TIME PERIOD.
8 SLAVERY is described in the Holy Bible is an accepted fact and it was the reason why even St. Paul told one salve to go back to his master in the Holy Bible. That was the reason why a very devout Christian like CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS had no problem making AMERICAN INDIANS SALVE when he accidently found out AMERICA on his way to INDIA.
Slavery was an accepted fact in Jewish history. "TREAT YOUR SLAVES JUSTLY AND FAIRLY, KNOWING THAT YOU ALSO HAVE A MASTER IN HEAVEN [Col. 4:11].
"THE SLAVE IS HIS MONEY" [Exodus 21:21]. St. Paul urged one slave ONESIMUS to return to his master. It is said that the ships that carried slaves from Africa, had gospel hymn AMAZING GRACE penned to the ships, indicating that people who made poor innocent Africans as slaves, were very devout Christians. They did not see anything wrong in making black Africans as slaves.. Columbus a very devout Christian was indeed a missionary who did NOT feel any remorse in taking slaves from America.
Lev. XXV:44- 55 "Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
Thessalonians 3:22 "Servants obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God."
In other words, common people were to think of themselves as mere slaves, and be happy little slaves, content with their lot.
9 ALL RELIGIOUS SCRIPTURES OF ALL RELIGIONS ARE THE DOCUMENTS OF HISTORY AND CULTURE OF THAT TIME PERIOD DEALING WITH PEOPLE WHO WROTE THEM. In Hindu scriptures, you read about the CULTURE AND HISTORY of INDIANS IN INDIA. Similarly, in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, one is studying the HISTORY AND CULTURE OF JEWS and nobody else. SIXTY SIX BOOKS OF THE HOLY BIBLE ON DEAL WITH JEWS.
66 books of the Holy Bible was written by Jews about Jews for Jews. In those books ONE WILL NOT READ ABOUT EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION, CHINESE CIVILIZATION, MAYAN CIVILIZATION, INDIAN CIVILIZATION.
I respect the Holy Bible as theCULTURAL DOCUMENT OF JEWS.....At the same time, it does not make any sense of any one Holy Bible and try to condemn other scriptures of the world.
ABOUT IDOL WORSHIP---------SHOW ME ONE PERSON WHO DOES NOT WORSHIP AN IDOL??? Then I can show you the biggest liar on earth----All religions use IDOLS AS A MEANS TO WORSHIP GOD----even ISLAM
IDOL WORSHIP IS PART AND PARCEL OF EVERY RELIGION INCLUDING ISLAM----Of Course NO religion states Idol is God---IDOL IS ONLY A MEANS TO CONCENTRATE ON THE NAMELESS FORMLESS GOD.
IDOL WORHSHIP IN ISLAM---With all respect and regard to ISLAM, and all the Moslems in the world, THERE IS IDOL WORSHIP IN ISLAM like all other religions in the world. Of course, I ALSO WISH TO ADD THAT LIKE IN HINDUISM, ISLAM ALSO USES ONE IDOL AS A MEANS TO WORSHIP GOD AND MOSLEMS LIKE HINDUS DO NOT BELIEVE IDOL IS GOD.
KABAH IS empty except for the sacred black stone (Hajer Al-Aswad)which adorns one corner. Some even speculate that it is a SIVA LINGA. I have never seen a photo of that sacred stone in KABAH. I respect the Holy worship place of Moslems but they have to agree that worship of stone in KABAH is no different from worship of a stone of GANESH in Hindu temple, or worship of a CROSS in a church. I wrote about Ka'bah ONLY to make a point that IDOL worship is NOT RESTRICTED TO HINDUISM BUT IT IS EVERY WHERE and my writing was not intend to look down upon Islamic faith.
What is Ka'bah?---Ka ‘bah, is the Mecca's massive stone shrine, overseen by high ranking KOREISH or QURAYSH tribe was said to have 365 idols, once for each day of the year---. 50 feet high and nearly 40 feet square, it housed one idol for each day of the year.---------- Ka'bah is the house of God "Allah" --ONE AND ONLY GOD as per Islamic teachings
WHAT IS IN THE Ka ‘bah??------ As far as I know today KABAH contains, a smooth black stone that shimmered in the southeastern corner – Belief is that this stone was given to Ishmael by the angel Gabriel, and set into the building by Abraham's own hands----Once again KABAH IS empty except for the sacred black stone (Hajer Al-Aswad)which adorns one corner. ==
Like Hindus worship idols, like Christians worship cross, Moslems worship this stone as a SYMBOL OF GOD.---------That is the naked truth and he who says I am mistaken should prove me with details.
Muslims Pray five times a day to Allah, facing towards Ka'bah in Mecca or Mekkah (Saudi Arabia). They always wanted to know what direction to face when they pray; this direction to Mekkah is known as Qibla. It has been observed for centuries and reported in many books by Muslims around the world that two times a year the sun comes overhead above Ka'bah. This is observational fact for centuries, and is used to set the correct Qibla direction in places far from Makkah.
If you study WORLD HISTORY you will not become fanatic at all---One can learn about the fights between SAIVATES and VAISHNAVATES in India; the bloody SPANISH INQUISITION; assasinations and tragedies of in the early Islamic history----I was and I am still fascinated by history and knowledge in world history made me to appreciate, admire and SYMPATHISE with all religions ---All religions have the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY parts in it-------No religion can say that it has monopoly on God on truth----------
Just like the SUN that rises above the killing fields of Combodia, the ghettoes of Bangladesh, the dry deserts of saudi Arabia is the same Sun that shines over the swimming pools of Beverly Hills; it is the same GOD that appears in TORAH, VEDAS, NEW TESTAMENT, ADI GRANTHA appears in KORAN.
