Honorable Ladies and Gentlemen,

While we appreciate that site is mainly meant for the discussion of THE Hindu religion,we as Indians cannot ignore the current events leading to the destruction of both Hinduism as well as India.

None of us as Hindus or Indians like what is being done by our very uncivil neighbour Pakistan.

We would like to point out a few of the attrocities being committed by them.
Hope you can spread this awareness amongst your other members too !
If WE as Indians will not help each other,who else will ?

Indian Airlines flight IC 814, carrying 178 passengers and a crew of 11,on its way from the Nepalese capital, Katmandu, to New Delhi, India, on Friday December 24th 1999 was hijacked over Indian airspace around 12.00 GMT.
The passengers included 150 Indians, eight Nepalese, one Canadian, one American, four Swiss, four Spaniards, one Belgian, one Japanese, one Australian, two French and one Italian. Four passengers were not listed by nationality.
The plane continues to remain in Kandahar , Afghanistan, with the hijackers threatening to begin killing more passengers if their demands were not met.

The Horrors Within -

Earlier -
Passengers are told to keep their heads down and not talk to each other.
Ripun Katyal, age 25,married barely 21 days ago and returning from his honeymoon, barely does that and the hijackers stab him in the neck letting him bleed to death.
Rachna, age 20, his bride, collapses on seeing her husband murdered and is still among the passengers at the mercy of the hijackers. The hijackers have refused to release her.
Another passenger, Satnam Singh, is also inflicted knife injuries.
Seven passengers are tied up and all the males are blindfolded.
Ripun's body is thrown on the tarmac while women with children, the injured Satnam Singh and two elderly passengers are released at Dubai airport. Most of the women passengers still have their husbands inside the aircraft and are too traumatized to speak to the hordes of waiting mediapersons.

Current reports say "The air in the plane is very bad ... it smells like people have been sick," The shades in the plane remain drawn and the engines are running, Afghan officials say. There are reports that the passengers have been forced to keep their eyes covered the entire time.

The Culprits -
The six hijackers comprise four Pakistanis, one Afghan and a Nepalese.
They have been identified as S.A. Qazi, Ahmed Sheik, Ibrahim Mistri, Sayed Akhtar Saqid
(All Pakistanis) and Gopal Tamrakar (Nepalese). The Afghan is yet to be identified.
They are reported to be armed with hand grenades, rifles and khukris (a type of Nepalese curved knife). They are assessed by experts as "highly-motivated professional mercenaries" with sound knowledge of the functioning of the aircraft.

They have demanded the release of several Kashmiri militants and a Pakistani-born Kashmiri militant be released from Indian prisons and have so far named Maulana Azhar Masood and Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar and say they would release more names (they wanted freed) to a United Nations negotiating team.

Ibrahim Mistri, one of the hijackers is reportedly Azhar Masood's brother.
Azhar Masood, is from Bawahalpur in Pakistan's Punjab province and worked as a professor at Jamia Uloom-i-Islami in Karachi, Pakistan.He is a fiery orator and one of the founders of HAU with links to wanted Saudi terrorist Osama bin Laden.
He came to India in 1992, to help the militants, and was active in the advising and guiding operations of Harkat-ul-Ansar.He was arrested at Anantnag, India in January 1994. Several attempts have been made to get him freed in the past.
He is an ideologue of the Harkat-ul-Ansar (HUA); now known as Harkat-Ul-Mujahadeen; a group believed to have its training camps in Afghanistan.
Azhar has been termed as a top Pakistani Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) contact and frontline leader of the HUA, now operating in Jammu and Kashmir as Harkat-ul-Mujhaedin.

In 1995, the organization kidnapped five foreign trekkers - one of them an American, two Britons, one Norwegian and one German from the tourist resort of Pahalgam in Southern Kashmir, India and tried to bargain their lives for Azhar's freedom.
The Norwegian was found decapitated and the other four are still missing and believed dead.
In 1996,the United States of America listed the group on its List of Terrorist Groups .

Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar is the Al-Umar (another terrorist organization) group chief who is in an Indian prison since 1993.

The mysterious "Islamic Salvation Front" (ISF) has claimed responsibility for the hijacking of the plane. Defense analysts and intelligence sources say that the operation was masterminded by the Afghanistani Taliban and assisted by Pakistan.
Islamic internationalist Osama Bin Laden's statement that India, the US and Russia are his religion's main enemies strengthens the belief that despite the veneer of responsibility and co-operation, Pakistan-Taliban sponsored terrorists are behind the hijacking.

In a 1994 interview Azhar had hinted at the infusion by Pakistan of foreign mercenaries in Jammu and Kashmir. ``Soldiers of Islam have come from 12 countries to liberate Kashmir. Our organization has nothing to do with politics. We fight for religion. We do not believe in concept of nations. We want Islam to rule the world.''

``Indian authorities cannot keep me long in jail. My comrades will get me out,'' he had also boasted. He said he came to India to set up advanced arms training camps in remote areas of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
At the time of his arrest, he was looking after well-equipped training camps for militants at Kapran village in south Kashmir.Since then, Pakistani mercenaries have reportedly set up more such camps in hinterland areas in their bid to dominate by physical occupation of vital heights.

Pakistan's Classic Reaction to the Situation

While India was stuck with a 'terror-diplomacy' nightmare of huge proportions, Pakistan's media reacted with glee and followed its military regime's line in accusing the Indian government of
`Stage-managing' the entire crisis.
It also accused the Indian press in harsh terms of resorting to anti-Pakistani propaganda even as it defended its government's action of refueling the plane and thus helping it to reach the international lair of terrorists -Kandahar. Islamabad's foreign minister Abdus Sattar had said on Sunday he suspected the hijacking was an Indian plot.

Some Facts on Pakistan

Pakistan has been an authoritarian dictatorship since its "bastard" inception in 1947 and even modest attempts at a democratic Government in that country have been met with ruthless termination. Sham and rigged elections for the world media,have fooled no one. Military coups and government overthrows are the order of the day. 'Might is Right' is the ONLY "party" prevalent in Pakistan.

Pakistan is NOT a secular nation and it espouses the Islamic faith. Even then, there is enormous strife in Pakistan between the two major Muslim sects - the Shiite and the Sunni Muslims. Ironically, the two groups disagree over how to interpret Islamic beliefs.
This when Pakistan and its hoodlums have the gal to claim "We fight for religion".

Pakistan is an open sponsor of International terrorism and a haven for terrorist camps and activities - a fact well know by the Intelligence agencies of every country of the World.

Incapable of developing any Nuclear capacity on its own, Pakistan, resorted to espionage and smuggling of nuclear weapons secrets and technology from India and various western powers with the sole purpose of developing nuclear weapons in its war against India.

Pakistan has very little domestic industry or source of income of its own and instead relies on generous Western aid in order to run the country on a daily basis.
Other sources of funds include state-sponsored narcotics, arms and human trade amongst other illegal activities.
Can you think of a single indigenous National Pakistani firm or corporation, let alone an International Pakistani corporation ?

Apart from three full-fledged wars with India in 1947,1965 and 1971 (all instigated by Pakistan), Pakistan has been conducting a large-scale proxy war for the control and takeover of the prosperous province of Kashmir since the day of Pakistan's formation.

Pakistan has very skillfully and successfully carried out this war in some of the following forms -

1. Armed militant infiltration using foreign mercenaries (in addition to its own troops) into Indian Territory, especially Kashmir, from across the Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepalese and Chinese borders.
These militants are involved with -

# Attacks on innocent villagers, Government targets, Border Police, Indian Army apart from destruction of public and private property.

# Playing havoc in the Kashmir valley by letting loose a reign of terror by attacking beauty parlors, video clubs, Jean shops, cinema halls and hotel bars and forcing them to close down. In their fundamentalist frenzy they deem these businesses to be un-Islamic.

# Extortion from businesses and private and public organizations to fund their effort.

# Exploitation of Women and severe Human rights violations in Jammu & Kashmir including Rape, Murder and Mayhem, Mutilation, Religious Sacrilege.

# Holding innocent children hostage and using them as human shields and "bargaining objects".

# Exfiltrating local Kashmiri youth to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (with the lure of money and often under threats to their and their families lives) where they are trained as terrorists and taught to handle weapons, explosive devices and mines. These brainwashed youth then re-enter India and further spread the militants' message.

# Unleashing terror and backing other militants and communal elements, who resort to selective victimization and killing of hundreds of Hindus.This resulted in an exodus by practically the entire Hindu minority community (Kashmiri Pundits) from their place of birth and living of over two thousand years.

# Kidnappings and assassinations of important public figures and their relatives.

# Hijackings of Indian passenger aircraft to seek the release of captured militants from the Indian government.

# Carrying out terrorist attacks on innocent public targets in major metros and urban areas of India using explosives and other weapons of mass destruction including a wide array of sophisticated weapons, ranging from Kalashnikov rifles of different origins and other automatic weapons, rocket launchers, land mines etc.

# Creating panic amongst the populace in general by blowing up bridges, places of religious worship, spreading arson and violent demonstrations.

2. Carrying out anti-India propaganda at various International forums and in the World media.
Pakistan falsely claims that Kashmiris want to align with Pakistan and face religious persecution in India, a secular state.

3. Carrying out Narco Terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan's ISI is using the narcotics trade to
# Generate funds to sustain militancy.
# Erode the vitality of the populace in the border belt.
# Win over the local youth as nformers/supporters of their cause.
# Increase the level of criminal activity.
The Golden Crescent has emerged as the leading producer of heroin in the world. About 80% of heroin in Europe and 20% in US comes from this region. Pakistan alone has the second largest share of heroin produce from amongst the three drug producing countries of the region.

4. Carrying out anti-secular propaganda and inciting communal violence and civil strife within India.
Every government in Pakistan has blatantly espoused an anti-India stance and has thrived and counted on an anti-India agenda to help it wield power.
It has completely brain-washed and corrupted the minds of its citizens against India to the extent that Indian sports teams playing in Pakistan are physically and verbally abused and manhandled by even the common man in Pakistan.
Pakistani Television and Radio plays routinely ridicule Indians and India's beliefs, and are broadcast into Indian territories.

5. Sponsoring and implementing terrorism in various states and provinces of India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh etc. resulting in the loss of not thousands but millions of lives - both civilian and military and affecting the life of almost EVERY Indian over the last 52 odd years since Pakistan's inception.

6. Pakistan continues to hold several Indian civilians in prison under inhuman conditions on falsified charges. Most of these are illiterate and naïve farmers who have whisked away from across the Indo-Pak border by Pakistani forces.

7. Pakistan also holds several Indian military prisoners.
It has flouted almost every clause of the Internationally recognized Geneva convention and routinely tortures these prisoners in the most inhuman forms often resulting in the deaths of several POWs.
It has also refused to return the bodies of Indian soldiers killed in the process of defending their nation against vile Pakistani actions.

8. Pakistan constantly seeks material, physical, monetary and moral help from other Islamic nations under the pretext that India is anti-Islam and it is their duty to "help stop India from destroying Islam".

Without being melodramatic I say "The list of Pakistan's misdeeds go on and on.
My pen would run dry and my wrists and fingers ache and my bones break before I can singularly document every heinous act committed and being committed by Pakistan."

Each day now I pray for the lives of both Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir, and that it wont be long now until these demonic jihadists meet up with true justice.

It is my strong belief that India will beat back these barbaric invaders. India is still the homeland of Rama and Arjuna. It is about time that the U.S. and Russia (both enemies of the Taliban) do something to help stop this fighting and slaughter of humanity.

We pray to God that the ordeal for the Hostages ends soon. May the Hijackers get the punishment they deserve. The Indian Govt. will deal with this situation with a firm hand.
May this incident open the eyes of 'Secularists' towards the haunting sceptre of Islamic terrorism which started with Islam itself.
