AN APPEAL FOR THE VICTIMS OF GUJARAT EARTHQUAKE
VISHWA HINDU PARISHAD OF AMERICA (WORLD HINDU COUNCIL)
Makes an urgent appeal for donations to provide relief to families affected by the worst earthquake in 50 years in the state of Gujarat.
The death toll is believed to be in thousands. Damage to private and public property is unimaginable. Misery of those affected is heart rending.
It will take efforts of a Bhagirath and generous funds to rebuild the shattered lives and destroyed communities.
VISHWA HINDU PARISHAD OF AMERICA (VHPA)’s SEVA program has a sterling record of more than twenty years of rendering help to the needy in times of calamities. VHPA has sent more than two million dollars for various relief works and service projects in Bharat.
We appeal to your heart – Please open your purses and make a generous contribution to help your brothers and sisters, children of mother Bharat in their hour of need.
There is no overhead. 100% of your contributions will be sent to reputed non-governmental organizations known for their honesty and integrity. Seva funds for relief work are distributed without consideration of province, race or religion.

i am happy to note that everybody care for india and gujarat in perticular.
i am giving thought that you should utilise your charity in giving some concrete
disaster plan for future so we maynot have to depend upon outside world.
to site an example let us establish makeshift hospital for 1000 peoplewith all the necessary paraphanelia
which is managed at "a" center. mobile blood collection and transfusionunit at "b" center.
5000 tents at "c" center etc and rushed to the resque work in few hours.
