Jesus and caste system
Dear Friends:
We just watched a video called "The Lost years of Jesus" -a film by
Richard Bock. I do not know where to get it, since the cover did not
have that information. It is a 93 min long documentary, containing
interviews of many persons and had the most information that I have seen
so far. It said that Jesus, when He was in Puri, Orissa, He lived with
the lower caste people and told them that they are equal in the eyes of
God. According to the video, some brahmins were upset, and Jesus left
Puri in a hurry on horseback and lived with Tibetan Monks.
That makes Jesus another campaigner against the caste system.
